Samsung rudating

After you remove it from the charger it works as long as you do not use it.

Are you one of the #Samsung Galaxy #Note4 owners that’s seeing the message “Updating contact list…” after you updated your phone to Android 5.1.1 #lollipop?

Well, read on as the first problem I cited in this post is for you.

I did the update on my phone and after it rebooted itself it everything else worked but my contacts wont download and i can’t send or receive picture messages, I took my phone to the T-Mobile store and they told me it wasn’t a service issue that it was possibly because of the update.

Troubleshooting: When you said that the contacts won’t download I assume you’re seeing the message “Updating contact list…” and that you left the phone for several minutes to a few hours already.

The contacts are saved but the names aren’t being displayed. Have tried clearing the app cache couple of times to no avail.I know this because when I go to create a txt message the name appears but when I select it only displays the number. Trying to avoid the hard reset, have backed up all date, but rather not go the hard reset yet. Any workable suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It worked fine but last month shortly after the 5.1.1 update I did it started randomly restarting for no reason.
