The tabloid claimed that Boyle “crawled out of the sunroof and yelled, ‘I have a boyfriend! ’”“She and I didn’t talk too much after that,” Spade reveals. Sadly for those who have not yet been charmed by Nicholson, the Oscar winner gave an interview several years back announcing his retirement from the flirtation game.“There were points in my life when I felt oddly irresistible to women,” Nicholson told in 2013. He’d described himself as a “tall, blurry Irishman”.Took a closer look at his pictures, and they were a bit blurry. But he seemed keen to meet, and of course he was tall, so I thought it could be worth pursuing. This was a first, as despite the benefits of coffee dates (cheaper, can be out after an hour or so if the guy’s weird), guys rarely suggest them.“I said, ‘I’ve been in this town long enough to know when I’m outranked,’” Spade remembers saying. I would love that one last romance, a real romance, but I’m not very realistic about it happening.” Those forlorn sentiments didn’t keep Nicholson from trying, however, earlier that year, when he shamelessly flirted with Jennifer Lawrence—50-odd years his junior—on camera at the 2013 Oscars. “‘You’re either gonna go out with him or you’re not.’ She goes, ‘No way. ’”The actor didn't think much of the interaction until he got a call from the alerting him that Boyle and Nicholson were involved in a car crash. The story comes from David Spade, the former (via Page Six), “Nicholson asked Lara Flynn Boyle out in front of me, while we were all smoking a doob somewhere.”According to the actor, Boyle “got mad because I didn’t stick up for her.” But Spade says he had his reasons.

Continue reading Blogger events are strange things. “Blogging” is a a bit of a catch-all term, which encompasses everything from people who have a Tumblr account that they post on occasionally, to people like Zoella who have earned millions off the back of their blog.
We agreed to meet by Kings Cross station and go somewhere nearby. The station has around a billion exits, so it took forever to locate each other. He was 25 (I usually go for older guys, but we must have matched when I lowered my age limit to include women too before I met too many weirdos), but he claimed to be 187cm (I work in imperial measures, but I’m pretty sure that’s taller than me) and seemed promising.
We’d arranged to somewhere near Shoreditch as he lives there and it’s pretty convenient for me too.
